Scuola Maria Ausiliatrice

I am an expert in the educational process and I am a special education teacher in primary school since 2007.

I enjoy working with my colleagues to find ever new teaching strategies.

I want to support the children in their learning process so that they can find their place in the world.

I’m curious to learn new teaching strategies, that other cultures I can offer, because only with the comparison I can grow.

Luigi Gentile
Hello, my name is Luigi Gentile, I teach religious studies at Maria Ausiliatrice Middle and High School.
I think it’s important to develop an appropriate cultural awareness to the new generations, to underline the connection between cultures and faiths, so that students can appreciate how beliefs continue to shape our world and how amazing is the relationship that God want to have with humankind.
I am convinced that in my profession dialogue is fundamental: that of setting up with each student and every colleague, the dialogue to be practiced with believers of every religion and people of different cultures, so that we can learn to overcome prejudices and misunderstandings.
I enjoy teaching using different didactic methodologies, paying close attention to the use of new technologies to develop the skills needed for the integral growth of students.
In these years I have learned from the Salesian charism that there is a formula for sanctity, as Don John Bosco used to say: “first be happy; second, study and pray; third, do good to everyone” this is what we try to practice every day in the classroom.
